Removing Wrinkles
Best Method - Steamer:
- Hang veil on hanger
- Use steamer 6-12 inches away, top to bottom
- Never touch steamer to fabric directly
Alternative - Hair Dryer:
- Mist wrinkled areas lightly with water
- Set dryer to medium, hold 12 inches away
- Dry while smoothing gently
Alternative - Bathroom Steam:
Hang in bathroom during hot shower (10-15 min, door closed). Don't let veil get wet.
Iron (Caution!):
Lowest heat, place cloth over veil, NEVER touch iron directly to fabric - it will melt!
Before Wedding
- Keep in box until 1-2 days before
- Store in cool, dry place
- Away from makeup, perfume, pets
Wedding Day
- Put on LAST (after makeup, hair, dress)
- Keep away from candles, food, drinks
- Have someone carry train when walking
After Wedding
Cleaning: Spot clean only with cool water and gentle soap. Dab, don't rub. Air dry. NO machine wash or dry cleaning.
Storage: Fold with acid-free tissue. Store in breathable bag in cool, dry place.
Emergency Fixes
- Makeup: Dab with makeup wipe - don't rub
- Snag: Work back through with needle - don't pull
- Spill: Blot with cold water immediately
